Spike Lee is a film maker who started up in the 1990s, making movies left and right. NYTimes is showing off how in the 90s there wasn’t any African American Film makers. But after a ten year movie making era for Lee, he had other African American film makers come out of their shadows and also other races. Lee directed movies like “Miracle at St. Anna”, and he collaborated with other black and white film makers. Some movies are “Madea Goes to Jail,”, (“House Party”) and (“Boyz N the Hood”).
